our open position of Electro Mechanical Technician
Electro Mechanical Technician
Participate in the prototyping, fabrication, testing, and production release
phases for new products and design revisions to existing products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide assistance to Design Engineers in component selection and vendor sourcing.
Order samples and work with the vendors to expedite parts for prototype builds.
Machine components for design and concept validation.
Assemble PC boards for design and concept validation.
Assemble electromechanical assemblies.
Create and maintain an organized laboratory working environment.
Maximize the concepts of Lean Manufacturing
Requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
Must have good technical problem solving skills.
Experience with complex interconnected electronic assemblies.
Experience operating a milling machine and lathe. (CNC machining experience preferred.)
Experience populating PC boards with surface mount components.
Must have experience with engineering drawings and specifications of mechanical parts.
Must have the ability to work on multiple projects with varying priorities.
Working knowledge of CAD, Epicor and general MS windows applications.
