Login so you get credit for reading/posting. Discourse places limits on postings to avoid SPAM.
Login so you have access to the Members Category if you are in the Member Group.
Discourse has extensive capabilities for email notifications when content changes. The default is to notify you when there is a
mention in a posting or you start a topic. You can request notification of all postings or a digest of recent postings if you are not logged in.
Mouse Over the Category listing on the Menu Icon popup to see a short description of each Category so you know where to post appropriately.
If you include a URL (http://…) in a message it will display a preview. If you use the WYSIWYG editor’s Anchor icon you can create a normal link to any URL.
Mouse over icons to get a description of that icon.
Use the mouse to select text that you want to quote in a reply…
You can search and review other categories while you are creating a new message.
While reading a topic, click on a date to get a link to that topic. The popup will also let you create a New Topic in the current Category. You can also drag the topic text into a new message to create a link to that topic.
Create bulleted lists with " - " and add a extra space in front for each added level of indentation. You mush have a blank line above the first bulleted item. This follows standard
rules which are allowed anywhere in a message.
When reading a message the Category will appear under the title. Click on the Category text to see the list of Topics in that category.
