The biggest problem with the space out front is that none of us are serious gardeners, and having something look nice tends to take a lot of work. If we’re being honest with ourselves, we’d rather work on technological solutions than biological ones.
That’s a solid idea. We actually had an aquaponics system inside the space for quite some time. A small team of college students was putting together a vertical farming idea with shipping containers, and did some prototype work inside the space. Some kind of vertical farm sounds cool, but it would have to be mounted on the brick wall, apart from the windows, and wouldn’t be easily seen by the public.
