The Dihydrogen monoxide voltaic decomposition reactor is a device which will break water molecules into their component hydrogen and oxygen atoms using an electric current.
Unfortunately, this post was made before looking into the details. It would have been awesome to use real radioactive Tritium vials to make “fuel rod” mock-ups for the device.
But looking into it, they don’t really glow in the light, and even if they did, the price for Tritium is so high, it would have run between 400 and 800 to buy the tritium vials needed for the project. I think I can pull off the same effect using LEDs and acrylic rods.
