Reposting this (from facebook) for a friend, who has an art show coming up in Williamsport in early May.
Hive mind: Help! I have a song that goes with one of my paintings that I want people to be able to listen to at my show. I need a simple, cheap set up to play a piece of audio with a work of art. I am thinking either a mini mp3 player with headphones or maybe an old school deskman and I can burn the song onto a CD. I will put it on a pedestal next to the painting with whatever on it and simple simple instructions for my audience, and I do not know if I will have an outlet so battery operated is a plus.
Also putting the song online and people can listen to it on their phone might be an option as a last resort.
The show opens May 5th, and I could have the set up just for the opening or for the full show, which goes until late July. Advice? Anyone have a functioning, but no longer in use, device I might borrow?
